Jewelry CAD/CAM

Our clients often approach us with little more than a concept for a piece. The team at Au can take those conceptual ideas, whether from a sketch or just a verbal description, and turn them into working images through Computer Aided Design (CAD). You will then be able to see a visual prototype of a piece and work with Au to adjust the design to your specifications. Once you're satisfied with the design, Au will use Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) to create a physical model, ready for molding or casting.

We are flexible in our approach to the jewelry CAD/CAM process. You can provide us with a CAD file in a variety of different formats and we’ll create a model or mold. We can provide you with the CAM output for your use. There are many options available at Au when it comes to CAD/CAM. We’re here to help you at any point in the process, from design to production.

We are able to guarantee delivery dates upon request, but our standard turnaround times, from concept to design, are as follows:

CAD--- no more than 2 weeks
CAM--- no more than 3 days
Total time--- less than 2.5 weeks
