Au offers a wide range of CAM processes, working with each customer to determine the best approach for their project.  We’re committed to staying at the cutting edge of technology and materials in order to deliver the best results for our customers.

Au can handle a variety of different input files including Matrix, Rhino, ArtCAM, and JewelryCAD. We can either create your CAD file or use a customer-provided file.

CAM Processes

• Milling Waxes
  Au offers 4 axis and 5 axis milling capability, which produces the highest resolution and most castable output. With 25 years of experience and state-of-the-art equipment, there are very few limitations on what we can mill in wax.

• Growing Waxes (aka Wax Printing, 3D Prototyping)
  For pieces that exceed 5 axes, Au provides cost-effective and high-resolution growing services utilizing the most investment casting-friendly material on the market.

• Direct Metal Machining
  Au offers high speed micro machining directly into metal – both precious and non-precious.
  

• Powdered Laser Melting (PLM) – gold, silver, bronze, and stainless. More to Come
